I hate brand names and all, but...

No T-shirt is worth $50. I don't care what frickin' brand it is.

That said, Affliction makes some of the most beautiful shirts I have ever seen, and my stepdad knows my taste in clothes far too well. *pets prettypretty new T-shirt*

I must confess, back when I had piles of money (for about 12 months, before the market "adjustment" of 1999), I did buy _ONE_ uber-nice "designer" t-shirt.

Plain white, perfect cut, amazingly soft (yet durable) cotton. Fifty bucks.

... and I still wear it, and it doesn't look more than a year old. And funnier still, it was for a costume party.

*nods* It is amazingly soft. It already looks more'n a year old because it's made to look worn, but if it lasts forever I will not argue. :)

Yeah, I can't really justify buying more (what if they don't last as long?), but it's neat to think it's lasted (in such a great condition) for 5x as long as a shirt 1/5th the cost. =)
