A younger me might've said beauty.

Every word I ever wrote was in pursuit of it; everyone I ever loved was the personification of it. I saw it where no one else did and believed in it where others thought it impossible. My peers were obsessed with the surface of it. I felt it behind everything, blood through the veins of the world, everything glowing with darkness and light. Everything connected by it.

Beauty isn't the word for it, of course. I just didn't know what else to call it. Still don't, I guess... but we'll call it magic, because that's what it feels like. I was in love with the magic of this whole crazy world. I fell in love with people who could see it too.

beauty broke the chain some how...

when reading words that meld, clearly into the thoughts and emotions of another, what words are there to use, outside of the common "I agree?"

no matter what people say is beautiful, "the eye of the beholder" may ring true in some cases, but there is also a collective of shared beliefs, or what we call culture (in some respects).

like our unique personalities, we all are beautiful: in more ways than one, in one way or another, and so on. some people shine with it, even if people don't see it from the physical surface and over-lapping skin. when you dig in and find something like a treasure, buried deep within their words and actions, you can find that "beauty." And some times, you may be the only one that sees it and it's yours to cherish.

in other words, i agree, understand and kudos.
